Here is the portal to find out whats new, what we are doing, and of course, highlighting Cool Factor.
First of all: We are currently putting up our new 4G network. The primary goal for the 4G is to finally get low cost high speed Internet to all of the rural communities and farms in Northeast Nebraska. Until now farmers had only 2 choices. Dial up (blah) and satellite (double blah). From Norfolk city limits we will be going out 8 miles at first and continuing to build out 8 to 14 miles at a time. We will be doing the same from the other communities we are already providing service. The network will provide 3mg to 5mg to every subscriber and no band width throttling (meaning, you can download and upload as much as you want). 4G accounts will also have the benefits as our in-town subscribers. Keep checking in and monitor our progress.
Free TV! Hulu has released there Hulu desktop for free download and I have to say it is cool. A very easy user interface allows you to navigate your favorite shows and movies. There is not much they don't have and the need to DVR goes completely away.
And, the new Zinc player by ZeeVee is equally as good and they have added 5 times the networks they used to have including the NFL and NBA channels. You can download the Zinc player from www.zeevee.com.
For over thirty years the cable and satellite companies have continued to raise rates and break up packages to increase there billing. Everyone says they have had enough. With Hulu and Zinc you can now break free and save between $45 to $100 per month. That's $1200 per year savings or $1200 per year you could apply towards your property taxes.
After much testing and research Simon has settled on the new Acer Revo multi-media computer for your television and Internet needs. This little power house is only 8"x8" and can fasten onto the back of your flat screen TV. The really good news is that its $199!
